## embracing making indoors
My wheel is outside in the front porch. While it is north-facing, it still does get cold now that we are entering winter here in New Zealand. Most of the work I've done are wheel thrown, so now I'm exploring handbuilding indoors.

I did not get selected for this event. But one of my mantras is "You miss all of the shots that you don't take."

I've mostly been making Instagram Reels the past few months. But I decided to start making longer form videos again and upload to YouTube.

## new collection (Strawberry Matcha)

I found a recipe on Glazy for a pink glaze that I like. I combined it with another glaze I had called Seafoam, and the resulting combination reminded me of Strawberry Matcha. I glazed some cups, bowls and saucers in this combo. I gave some of the saucers to a small cafe near Jaime's school called Creamy and Crunchy. It's owned and ran by Summer who bakes vegan delights from the small cafe. She makes lovely matcha and every drink comes with a biscuit (cookie). I appreciate what she is doing, and wanted to support her by making saucers for her drinks so that it fits the cup and the biscuit.
