updated: 23 February 2026 (sunny afternoon in Wellington, with the Cicadas chirping, I think it may be summer after all) The past few weeks have been a mix of excitement, disappointment, distress and relief. - **Excitement**: finished and packed my pots for The Collaboration shop and sent them all off before the deadline. Then we went to Auckland to see Lorde on her Ultrasound Tour. - **Disappointment**: applied for a job that I thought I was well suited for (supporting a makerspace and part-time). Unfortunately didn't even get shortlisted. - **Distress**: my kiln had a complete meltdown after I managed to temporarily fix it. Interestingly, the meltdown happened after I replaced the part that I made, with the part that the kiln manufacturer made.
